The Build Your Resources program offers varied, relevant, monthly resource workshops available to the entire community, regardless of income level. Subjects will include many of the resources identified for success in the Getting Ahead program such as:

Want to create savings for a sustainable future? Learn how your savings choices today can make your tomorrow brighter! Presented by Dr. Yoder of Mount St. Mary’s University.

Caring for Your Mental Health in a Constantly Connected World
Does your social media account sometimes stress you out? Learn strategies to care for yourself in a world that never gets unplugged.

Financial Literacy Fair
This is a FREE and FUN, drop-in event! Curious about paying for college? How about Credit Repair? Need support in creating a family budget? You’ll find resources for this and so much more! There will be door prizes and giveaways throughout the day.

Overdose Response Training
This training is for anyone who is at risk for overdosing on heroin or prescription pain medication and anyone who may have an opportunity to help someone experiencing an overdose. You will learn: Types of Opioids; How to Recognize, Respond, and Prevent and Opioid Overdose; How to Administer Naloxone/Narcan(r); and Resources for Family Members, Friends, & Loved Ones.
